This study can batter explain the understanding of knowledge management and how it can affect the organizational performance which becomes the cause of success or failure of an organization. This study also helps organizations to consider their employees as their main important assets and take important initiatives to encourage them to share their knowledge and should also focus more on increasing their ability to manage knowledge efficiently to increase their organizational performance and gain the sustainable competitive advantage on competitors.

Now a day’s every organization want to increase their creativity, production, performance, sales, revenue and compete their competitors which can be only possible when an organization have an experienced, skilful and knowledgeable workers who have the ability to analyse the external and internal environment of an organization and empowered to bring changes in the processes of an organization. Furthermore when the employees of an organization are empowered they have the authority to think creatively and also implement the necessary changes in an organization due to which their level of commitment with their organization increases.
However empowerment is a very important management practice and becomes the cause of success but on the other side there is also a fear of control and authority over the workforce. From the results of this study it has been conclude that the psychological empowerment have a very great impact on the organizational commitment of employees. By increasing the psychological commitment of employees organizational leaders will be able to efficiently keep their employees motivated with them for a longer period of time and their intentions to leave an organization will be also decreased which will intern helps an organization to gain competitive edge on their competitors and maximize their profit.
